俗话说得好：“不到长城非好汉。”在这个暑假我就当了一回好汉。

我们先乘一班列车到了八达岭。天空下着蒙蒙细雨，温度低到14--15摄氏度，给我带来了一阵夏日的清凉，可是几个同行的人都鸡皮疙瘩颤抖起来，妈妈见此为我披上了一件雨衣，我就准备当好汉了。

一进长城，我从垛口往外望去，长城犹如一条巨龙横卧在山涧。踏步上去，我向前望，感觉自己像是骑在龙背上；再往后看，雾蒙蒙的一片，我似乎在龙背上腾云驾雾。上了长城，似乎像在飞。

驻脚细细观察，城墙是用一块块巨大的石头筑成的，每隔约100米左右就有一座城台，我早了解到这是古时候打仗时互相呼应用的。我步行到大约长城的一半路程时，我的同伴大声呼喊：“好累啊，真累！休自语：不能停下来！没到好汉坡，决不罢休。于是，我拉起爸爸的手息休息吧。”但我知道还没到好汉坡，一股动力在推动着我，我喃喃，一直向前冲。一路上有上坡与下坡组合的，我有几次下坡时，几乎控制不了自己跑步的速度，一直向下冲击，没办法刹住自己的脚步，好惊险啊。但我学会了登山的技巧，比如遇到下坡有上坡时，下坡一定要快，不然上坡就没有惯性冲击力了。一路紧走慢跑，我们终于到了终点。此时此刻，我好像自己打了胜仗凯旋而归似的，疯狂地呼喊：“我是好汉，我是好汉！”声音在长城上盘旋回荡。

这个暑假，我终于成功地当了一回好汉！

到了北京，我们去了天安门广场，参观了故宫；游览了清华大学和北京大学；到了八达岭长城，并且登上了长城……。这里使我最难忘的就是长城的壮丽景观。

到了长城脚下，远看长城，它像一条长龙，在崇山峻岭之间盘旋。开始登长城了，城墙外沿有两迷多高的成排的垛子，垛子上有方形的瞭望口和射口，供瞭望和射击用。听导游介绍修建长城是为了抵挡敌国的攻击，建造长城时用了很多劳动人民的血汗和智慧，才凝结成这前不见头，后不见尾的万里长城。在长城瞭望周围的景色，好像是做了梦一样，旁边有一座座山，山上有绿绿的小草，中间是一眼望不到边的长城，真美啊！我越登越高，越登石阶越陡峭，最终我登上了长城。站在长城的最上面往下看，什么物体都是小小的，看长城脚下都没有一只手大；看那山脚，就像一小把嫩绿的小草。站在最上方看那旁边的山，是那么宽，那么高，那么大，那么绿。长城蜿蜒起伏，像一条巨大的'蛇。仰望天空，雾蒙蒙的天空没有一朵白云，不过像是离我们很近，一伸手就能摸到天空似的。我渐渐的陶醉了，一会儿欣赏这，一会儿欣赏那，似乎像是一大幅图画。

俗话说的好啊！不到长城非好汉，今天我倒要去看一看这座拥有几千年历史的伟大工程到底是怎么样的。今天的游览路线可都是我昨晚精挑细选万里挑一的，如果有人听的话，就快来听一听吧。

一大早，我们便坐上旅游公交车来到了景区里面，没想到一下车，眼前的风光就尽收眼底，景区内有各种各样的花和树，有粉花、红花、紫花，还有我最喜欢的黄花等五颜六色让人眼花缭乱，仿佛是一片五彩缤纷的花海，真让人忍不住去闻一闻。

在花海的旁边，有一座白色石碑挺立在那，上面精美刻着八达岭长城五个大字。我心想，这里就这么美，那八达岭长城岂不是更美，我心正想着，忽然天空中有一只小燕子飞过，仿佛是在说快来，快来，我带你去吧，好奇心驱使着我飞速奔去。

当我跑到八达岭长城的脚下时，我仰望着长城看到了非常长的长城拔山而起，坐落在一座又一座的高山之间。忽然间，我觉得我就是一只蚂蚁，长城是一条巨龙卧在山间看着对我吼叫。突然一阵清脆的鸟鸣把我的想象打断，我迫不及待地爬上了长城。

在攀爬了这座世界奇迹后，我才明白古人到底有多么伟大。我在这长城上仅爬了一小段，就累的汗流浃背，那古时那些人在那严峻陡峭的大山上呢？更何况，那时科技十分落后，且他们得背着材料在这陡峭的高山上修建长城。那得耗费多大的人力物力啊？这些人们的无私付出，让我们幸福。

每隔一段距离就有一条沟壑横贯长城。我仔细思考，觉得那是古时的防水防雨用的，因长城地处高处，且较为封闭，如果没有这几条沟壑，那么雨天就容易积水，会妨碍人们的行动，甚至可因此被攻破。而古时科技技术不强，于是，睿智的古人们就想出了这么一个方法。

走出长城，回头观望，真觉不到长城非好汉！
